BatteryBar will move on taskbar (My OS: Win7), if there are more icons on right, then BatteryBar will move to left, but it can't adjust the position after some icons disappear. And I can't adjust the position manually.23 votes
Hello, would it be possible to give batteries different names?
For example i have 2 batteries with different Serial Numbers: 817SANYO45N1057 and 1366SANYO45N174, it would be nice if i could name them Alice and Bob, to tell them apart.21 votes
Like BatteryCare (http://batterycare.net/en/index.html) :
Battery's discharge cycles monitoring
The advanced algorithm accurately records when a complete discharge cycle is performed.
When the configured number of discharge cycles is reached, a notification balloon pops up to remind that a full discharge is required.20 votes
Hello, I've just replaced my aging (and dying) original battery with a new one, and the BatteryBar keeps displaying remaining time for the original one (which had only 12% of capacity left in it). Having to wait for the stats to converge on the real life of the new pack will probably take months, so it would be nice if you kept trace of the battery identity.
Thanks a lot.
For systems using modular batteries, the secondary battery almost always (under windows) discharges fully before the primary battery is touched.
Knowing this to be capable within Linux, we would like to see a similar option added to this wonderful utility.15 votes
An option to have batterybar alert me when the notebook has high sustained power usage. I normally get 5hours battery life with my Acer1410 even with heavy multitasking. However it just takes one bad flash site, or occasionally Opera hogging CPU cycles to halve my battery life. I would love an optional alert to let me know that battery consumption is high. You could set % above regular battery consumption and the threshold time. (eg; Alert after 60seconds of 150% usage)14 votes
How about showing the battery wear at the top of the info pop-up battery graph, showing how much of the original capacity is lost due to wear. It would show at the top of the graph in a rust/brown color showing the capacity that is displaced by wear, and the remaining graph would show the remaining available capacity.
i.e. a 10% wear and 50% remaining available capacity would look like: (X=Wear, 0=Remaining capacity)[XX_________000000000]
A 25% wear with 33% remaining available capacity:
A 40% wear with 100% remaining available capacity:
See battery usage not only in one moment of time but previous peaks too.

Create a reporting feature so that admins can gather data on all laptops battery status on the network to assist with maintenance and replacement. This could be part of the Pro upgrade or a separate Business/Enterprise upgrade.13 votes
I would like see which scheme of charging I used automaticly then now you must use RightClick on indicator.13 votes
it will be nice to add an
Option to disable windows sidebar on battery
and reenable it when charging...
or let the user choose what exe kill and what exe luch on battery/charging
this is important to us who wanted to calibrated.. it is suggested that battery needs to calibrated every 30 cycles.. and if there is indicator for that it would really helped12 votes
When using more than one battery it is would be useful to be able to identify what battery is currently present in the system. I only was able to figure out the batteriy names by seeing which battery appeared in the profile graph dialog after inserting a new battery. Please display that data for primary and secondary batteries.12 votes
Internally I’m testing putting the battery name instead of “BatteryBar x.×.x” in the status window. Alternately, I may end up putting it in the status window.
What about a no install portable version ?
I am working on a stand-alone version that doesn’t install as a taskbar toolbar, which means it would be used anywhere. I would have to add some way of selecting if you want the data written to the program location rather than the appdata folder.
I think it would be a god idea to add an option to access the native Power Options to (right click) context menu. I think some time users want to be able to access more advance options.10 votes
Can you add option in preferences to make left click change actual powerplan? So when I click with left button, it won't alter time/percentage, but shows popup with powerplans.
+Can it show actual powerplan as little horizontal or vertical 3-colour bar (green for powersave, orange for balanced, red for high performance) ?10 votes
- Don't see your idea?
